The Power of Visualizations

Good Morning and Happy New Year from the Philippines!

I woke up this morning and was greeted with a FB memory that I’d personally written back in 2014. While I was reading it, I was reminded of the power visualizations has to completely change your life and your business.

Now I’m a visionary anyway, I actually do visualization exercises consistently throughout the year, not just at the beginning. But this post is just a small example of the power visualization has. So I really want to share it with you...and what better time than the first of the year!

So I quote myself back on January 1, 2014:

“I can’t help to think of all the goals I want to set and achieve for the remainder of 2014.

First and foremost I want to open a new and successful business, one that I can work from anywhere in the world. My cake business has taught me a lot.”

The following month I sold my bake shop and opened my video production company in April. By July, I had a call center of over 50 people in the Philippines and 17 amazing animation artists. It’s crazy to look back and think of the growth that’s possible in such a short period of time if you visualize, focus and take action.

I then wrote “I want to sell and give away all my belongings and leave myself with only 1 suitcase. I feel that all this ‘stuff’ has been weighing me down. And by the end of November, I want to be living outside of Canada permanently, hopefully somewhere warmer!”

I sold all of my furniture and belongings in my Vancouver condo and moved to Costa Rica on March 6. Only 2 months after I’ve written this post. Who would have thought! By November I had moved to Prague. And since then, I purchased a house in Costa Rica and accumulated quite a bit of “house stuff” only to realize again for the second time it’s not really what I want. I sold my house and all my possessions and now I live with about 4 suitcases and prefer it this way.

We’re coming to end..

“As each year passes, I’m realizing how short and precious life is. The material things are convenient but mean nothing. Stress is a killer and my ultimate goal is to minimize the amount of stress that is associated in my everyday life so I can be a happier & healthier person. I will continue to cherish my family & friends. And will always be honest, faithful and love whole-heartedly. Looking forward to see what new adventures 2014 bring.”

With this ending statement, I still feel 100% the same. Except that my daily stress level is almost none. When you set attainable goals and really visualize what your life and business should look like, you can manifest it to make a reality. You don’t always have to know exactly how you’re going to get there in the beginning or the length of time it may take you. As long as you keep your vision alive and stay focused.

If you haven’t been visualizing what it is that you want, I highly recommend closing your eyes right now and paint yourself a very clear picture of what you want and desire.

Write it down, share it with the world and make it happen!

Visualize it, believe it & make it happen.

I wish each and every one of you a healthy, prosperous and exciting 2021!🍻
